In February 2004 Nordhere assembled in Yellowknife, NWT to help put together a set of fighting standards. The Yellowknife Medieval Society organized a 'Medieval Feast' for the public the second night we were there, where Nordhere performed a number of fight routines. Authenticity standards were not enforced, but nevertheless the group looks quite good.

Friday night and a couple hours Saturday afternoon were spent going through a system of 'The Fives', very similar to what groups in Europe and Australia are doing. Everyone took to the fighting system, and it was pretty much decided that Nordhere would officially adopt it.

After the fight demonstration, we settled down for an evening of good food, socializing and even did a brief interview with a local journalist.
